Description

The bdAEC Acoustic Echo Canceller is a software module, specifically designed for IP networks PC-based applications, that can eliminate Acoustic Echo in realtime communications. Acoustic Echo is generated when loudspeakers and microphone are used instead of a headset.

Thanks to its great stability and robustness bdAEC can work in adverse network conditions, manages very cheap audio devices such as Webcams' Microphones, while tracking echo path variations.

Demo

In order to let you experience the quality of a VoIP application based on bdSound Speech Enhancement Suite (bdSES), containing the bdAEC module too, we have designed a simple SoftPhone working with bdSES. The definitive way to test the performance of a VoIP software speech enhancement algorithm is to use it in a real-life environment, with any device (stand alone microphones, head sets with microphone, webcams' microphones, pc speaker, etc.) in an actual two points communication.
